  1. Just a quick note to say Thank You for this posting on CAD training for beginners. I have a friend of mine that works for AT&T as private contractor drafting fiber optics and has encouraged me to do the same. The issue is that she was trained on in house software a decade ago via OJT. I have yet to find any companies that would hire me and train me in CAD to do similar. So I am researching and trying to figure out precisely what type of CAD training I would need to work similarly. Are you aware of which type would be needed? Or for that matter, Any companies that offer OJT in CAD? Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.

  2. Hello sir, I want to learn auto cad in mechanical i.e. structure & piping so please suggest.

  3. Lewis, this is a great list. Thank you.

Do you know of any online Autocad (and Revit) classes that offer some way of accessing the program itself remotely? I desperately need to update my AC skills (and to learn Revit from the start), but definitely can not afford to buy them. You can only learn so much by just watching videos and looking at handouts or books.
